Founded in 1976, T&G is one of the first full service, dedicated fly fishing and wingshooting shops in the country. We are one of the largest in the Midwest and an acknowledged leader in the fly fishing retail industry. Our Northfield, Illinois location is easy to reach and open seven days a week. We stock full lines of quality fly rods, reels, fly lines, flies for both fresh and salt water, waders, fly tying materials, clothing, accessories, books and videos. We offer private casting lessons on our premises and teach a range of fly fishing and fly tying classes. Our Angling Escapes division can book a range of fishing expeditions to destinations both inside the US as well as dozens of worldwide locations.

Our wingshooting department carries high quality side by side and over and under shotguns from Beretta, Siace, Kimber, Arietta and a host of others as well as upland hunting clothes, specialty shotgun shells, hearing protection and cleaning supplies.
